STONE SOUR Singer Gets His 'Freak' On With KORN
December 20, 2006Launch Radio Networks repors: STONE SOUR vocalist Corey Taylor did KORN a huge favor last summer when he sang two songs with the band at a British festival, which KORN vocalist Jonathan Davis couldn't attend due to a blood infection. Taylor got to repeat his performance on the 2006 Family Values tour, this time dueting with Davis onstage. Taylor told Launch how it all came together. "I did it a couple of times," he said. "I did it once in New Jersey, and then the last time I did was in Manchester (New Hampshire). You know, it was a great time. The reason I did is 'cause when Jonathan was sick, I was one of the people that they asked to get up and do a couple of songs, and apparently I did it well enough that they were like, you know, 'Would you like to come out and do it during the tour?'And I was like, 'Errrrr, all right.'"
Taylor's performance of "Freak on a Leash" with KORN appears on the "Family Values Tour 2006" CD and DVD, both out next Tuesday (December 26).
